Privacy policy

Information you enter

The extension processes the text you type to identify a commitment’s title, type, date and time. This processing takes place locally in your browser. Your text is not sent to TIMOVIS Ltd or an external AI service for interpretation.

If a commitment needs further organisation, the extension stores it in your browser’s local extension storage. Saved information includes your original text, extracted details, a confidence score, an item identifier and its creation time.

Google Calendar

When you click Continue and the extension recognises sufficient scheduling information, it automatically opens a prefilled Google Calendar event page. You can also open this page when organising a saved inbox item.

Opening that page sends the commitment’s title, date, time and original text to Google in the page URL. This happens when the page opens, even if you subsequently cancel without saving the event. The URL may also appear in your browser history.

You must review and save the event in Google Calendar yourself. The extension cannot confirm whether you saved it.

The extension does not read your existing calendar, access your Google password, or store Google account credentials or access tokens. Google handles information received by its services under its own privacy policy.

Local storage and retention

Inbox items remain in your browser until you delete them or remove the extension’s local data. They are not synchronised between devices by the extension or backed up to TIMOVIS servers.

You can delete an item by opening it in the inbox and selecting Delete commitment. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage. Removing local data does not delete events you have saved in Google Calendar or entries in browser history; manage those separately in the relevant service.

Opening Google Calendar from an inbox item keeps the inbox copy until you delete it.

Permissions and security

The extension uses Chrome’s storage permission to save and retrieve inbox items. It does not request microphone access or access to the content of webpages you visit.

Local data is held in Chrome’s extension storage. The extension does not add its own encryption to this storage. Google Calendar pages are opened using HTTPS.

Advertising, tracking and data sharing

The extension contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. TIMOVIS Ltd does not receive your saved commitments through the extension and does not sell them or use them for advertising.

Information is sent to Google only as described in the Google Calendar section above. Our handling of extension user data is limited to providing its stated features and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Support correspondence

If you email info@timovis.com, TIMOVIS Ltd receives your email address and any information you include. We use that information to respond to your enquiry. Please avoid including sensitive commitments or other unnecessary personal information in support messages.

You can contact us at the same address to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent us. TIMOVIS cannot retrieve or delete inbox information stored only on your device.

Visiting this policy page

This page contains no analytics scripts, forms or advertising and does not itself set cookies. The hosting provider may process technical connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, to deliver and secure the website. This is separate from the commitments stored by the extension.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the extension’s data practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the extension or its store listing as appropriate.
